Sadly, the same is also true for girls that come from low income households or marginalized communities.
Without proper sanitary supplies, they may resort to using newspapers, dirty rags, and even leaves to manage their periods.
The combination of period poverty, stigmatization, and inadequate reproductive and sexual health education has major consequences for menstruators’ wellbeing. It can also prevent menstruators from staying in school, thereby ending their education.

As a way of combating period poverty,
end period stigma and empower young women Mudzini Youth Organisation has travelled across many villages donating menstruation pads and educating young ladies about menstrual health.
We are collecting Sanitary pads which will be delivered to adolescent girls in schools,churches,mosques,orphanages and village centers.
Join us in this cause by donating towards the purchase of menstruation Packs for thousands of girls from south coast Kenya, Kwale county in Kinango interior villages.
